HOW TO GET THE best print possible

When uploading a design on “custom design” there are a few things to keep in mind. First of all, the final product of the print you receive depends on the picture you upload. Therefore, we have made a guideline to guide you in the right direction when uploading a picture.

BEst file types

For an optimal print, we recommend vector files such as: AI, EPS, SVG, and PDF.

In some cases that won’t be possible. That is why we have made a list with the optimal measurements in pixels for PNG, JPEG and JPG files (standard photos and images).

THe best options for a standard photo

In the table, you will find the optimal measurements for an image in pixels.

Remember, these are the optimal measurements. We recommend – as the bare minimum, an image in HD. If your image doesn’t meet those criteria, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. In that case, we will see if our graphical department can make some tweaks to achieve a better image quality.

Some general tips:

  • Text can be very hard to read on the grill – especially on the Soundboks 3. Avoid long words and text if possible.
  • If you want text on the grill, the best outcome will be a combination of bright color and a dark color. For example a black text on a plain white background.
  • Scratches are more visible on black and dark surfaces. Try to avoid large areas of black and dark colors in your design.

The process for businesses is exactly the same as for regular customers. Fill out the formula under “custom design“, and from there on we can create the design that fits your needs.

Please keep in mind that as much information as possible on the design from the very beginning will greatly increase the speed at which the project is ready.
