SOUNDFRAME began with a group of friends, a few cans of spray paint and a SOUNDBOKS that needed to look good for Roskilde Festival. This is our story.

The beginning

It started with a pig

Back in our boarding school days, we were taking our brand new SOUNDBOKS to Roskilde Festival - and it had to look the part. So we grabbed some spraypaint and spent two full days on it.

The result? A very simple, pretty ugly pig. We loved it anyway. But we couldn't stop thinking: this has to be possible to do better.

The solution

We got thinking

What if anyone could make their SOUNDBOKS look exactly the way they want - without paint, mess or hours upon hours of work? The answer was precision-cut vinyl.

So we put every penny we had into a vinyl cutter and set it to work in our 9 m² "office". First came solid colours. Step by step, we grew into fully customisable skins in millions of colours, cut to fit every side. That’s how YOUR SOUNDBOKS YOUR WAY was born.

The journey

Where we are now


Today, that 9 m² room has grown into a brand, SOUNDFRAME, that wraps SOUNDBOKS' for everyone - from a single speaker for a birthday present to full fleets for brands.

Every day we work on making our skins better: stronger adhesion, easier application and more durable materials, so everyone can make their SOUNDBOKS truly their own.
